Welcome to the Experiment
“We just try things as a form of living.”
This is an experiment. And like every experiment, it could expose all the things wrong within it—the wrong compounds, the wrong equipment, the wrong timing.
It could be disastrous.
That is my fear.
And yet, an experiment provides us with something so ripe and juicy with possibility that even our fear can’t overcome the deliciously alluring pursuit. Meaning we cannot help ourselves but try.
That is my hope.
I imagine it’s what Eve felt when she reached for that apple.
It’s what I feel now.
This is an experiment in showing up as our truest selves & learning more than we thought we could about who we are, our strengths, and each other.
From the places we were born to the baggage we were born into carrying.
Sharing our scars and also our triumphs. Being honest and true and holding that powerful space for ourselves.
Through essays and interviews, we’re going to feel our way through this new era together.
Because I am, we are, alive.
